As part of the Presidential elections of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT) the former captain of Indomitable Lions, Samuel Eto’o, has been elected this Monday, November 1, 2021 among the delegates, during the elections organized in the regional football leagues in Cameroon.
A declared candidate for the presidency of the Cameroonian football federation, Samuel Eto’o has acquired, by election, the right to take part in the general assembly which will elect the next president of the Cameroonian football federation.

Besides Eto’o, Foko Kamga Stéphane, Louis Bekek, Nyamsi Mongue, Timba Noé and Elongo Kingue are also among the delegates from the Littoral.
The former Barcelona player was elected delegate of the Littoral Regional Football League with 37 votes out of 39
With this election, all that remains is his candidacy for the presidency of FECAFOOT to be validated.
The election of the next president of the federation will take place in Yaoundé on December 11.
