Edouard Mendy, the goalkeeper of Senegal and Chelsea, again lifted a major trophy just days after that of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2021).
The doorman of the Blues has indeed returned for the final of the Club World Cup won on Saturday evening.
Mendy has definitely been a trophy magnet for several months.
Just six days ago, the 29-year-old lifted the AFCON 2021 trophy after a game-winning penalty shootout. A session narrowly avoided on February 12, since Chelsea won the Club World Cup at the expense of Palmeiras (2-1).
In the summer of 2021, the Senegalese Edouard Mendy had also lifted the Champions League and the European Supercup.
