African nations now know their opponents in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The draw was made this Thursday, July 13, 2023, in Côte d’Ivoire.
The draw for the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup was made this Thursday in the Ivorian capital on the sidelines of the 45th Ordinary General Assembly of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The tasks have just been completed by African football legends including, Jay Jay Ockocha, Asamoah Gyan, Gomaa, Eboue and Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Black Stars of Ghana find themselves in Group I with Madagascar, Mali, Central Africa, Commoros and Chad.



The African qualifications for the FIFA 2026 World cup which will take place in North America, will kick off in November.
