A new draw for the qualifiers of the Women’s Champions League 2023 in the West African Football Union Zone B (WAFU-B), organized by the governing body, was released on Friday, August 18, 2023.

Following the withdrawal of AS GNN club from Niger “for reasons outlined in a letter addressed to the leadership of WAFU-B,” a new draw was conducted this Friday.

The WAFU-B qualifiers will now feature six clubs divided into two groups competing for a spot in the semi-finals, with the winner advancing to the main phase of the CAF Women’s Champions League later in the year.

The teams participating in the tournament are the reigning champions of the Women’s Football League, Delta Queens in Nigeria, USFA from Burkina Faso, Sam Nelly FC from Benin, Ampem Darkoa from Ghana, Amis Du Monde from Togo, and Atletico FC from Côte d’Ivoire.

Group B
1. Ampem Darkoa (Ghana)
2. Amis du Monde (Togo)

The Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, is the venue for all the qualifying matches, which will take place from August 20 to 31, 2023.
