The businessman and politician, Nabil Karoui, was arrested Sunday, August 29 2021 in Algeria, reports several Tunisian media. He was allegedly accused of having entered the territory illegally.
Hakainde Hichilema , 59, took office since 24 August 2021. He has contested five previous elections in 2006, 2008, 2011, 2015 and 2016, before winning in this year’s presidential election with over 59% of the vote.
