Sadio Mané’s Senegal beat Burkina Faso on Wednesday in the semi-finals of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON2021). For their second consecutive final, they will face the winner between Cameroon-Egypt match on Thursday.
The game was scoreless in the first round. But the second part was difficult for Burkina Faso. The Teranga Lions changed the look of game after two goals from Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain players, Abdou-Lakhad Diallo (70′) and Idrissa Gana Gueye (76′).
Burkina-Faso were able to only save one goal scored by Ibrahim Blati Touré in the 82nd minute. But 5 minutes later, Liverpool star Sadio Mané made it 3-1.

Senegal’s hope of winning its first trophy is growing. After a long fight against Burkina Faso, Aliou Cissé’s men qualified for the second consecutive AfCON final, three years after the failure against Algeria.
Senegal on Thursday will know their opponent in the AFCON 2021 final, after the meeting between the host country, Cameroon and Egypt.
