In Abuja, Nigeria, the Super Falcons defeated the Elephants of Côte d’Ivoire (2-0).
On Friday February 18, around 4 p.m., the Nigerian women’s team received the Elephants of Côte d’Ivoire on its land.
The hosts won two 2-0 thanks to a brace from Ifeama Onumonu.
Meanwhile, in Johannesburg, the Algerians lost to the Banyana-Banyana of South Africa (0-2), in the first leg.
After resisting for 40 minutes of play, the Algerian women’s national team finally bowed down to South Africa (0-2).
The same day, Cameroon also beat The Gambia (8-0).
The Zimbabwe – Botswana match ended 1-3 for Botswana, while Tunisia won Equatorial Guinea (5-0).
