As part of the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers, the two matches between Ghana and Nigeria scheduled earlier on March 24 and 27 have been rescheduled to new dates.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Monday informed the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) and the Ghana Football Federation (GFA) that their matches will be played on new dates.

“The opening leg of the fixture at the Cape Coast Stadium will now take place on March 25, starting from 7:30 p.m Ghana time, which will be 8:30 p.m in Nigeria.”

“The return leg match will now hold at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on March 29, starting from 6 p.m Nigeria time,” a statement indicated.

The winners of both legs will qualify for the World Cup which will take place in Qatar, from November 21 to December 18, 2022
