The former captain of the Black Stars of Ghana, Asamoah Gyan has launched on Saturday April 30, 2022 in Accra, his book titled “LeGyandary”. Here is all you need to know about the event.
Many African football legends were invited to this event held at the Kempinski Hotel in the capital of Ghana.
Since the beginning of the weekend at Kotoka International Airport, special welcomes have been organized for the personalities invited to the book launch.
The ceremony also saw the presence of the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, the former Senegalese international El hajj Diouf, and many others.
“I didn’t expect this level of appreciation. I’m overwhelmed by the love shown,” the Ghanaian footballer said to his guests during the event.
“When I started, no one knew who Asamoah Gyan was. I couldn’t have done it without the support of my brother. He’s the one behind my success,” Asamoah Gyan added.
In the book titled “LeGyandary”, Asamoah says he detailed his life and career.
The very first copies were purchased for GHS 100,000 each by many Ghanaian businessmen and politicians.
