Former Gabonese player Théodore Zué Nguema died at the age of 48 in Mongomo (Equatorial Guinea), the Gabonese Football Federation announced on Thursday.
The midfielder passed by Téléstars and Mbilinga FC and had a brief experience in Europe at Angers from 1997 to 1998, and at SC Braga ( 1999-2001).
Théodore Zué Nguema played as a striker and represented the Gabon national team between 1995 and 2005, scoring 23 goals in 77 appearances.

The player who was also known as “Little Pepper” because of his particular style, had returned to finish his career in the country, before starting another as a coach.
He therefore moved to Equatorial Guinea to pursue his coaching career.
