Togolese defender of Ghanaian origin, Kennedy Kofi Boateng and his club CD Santa Clara finished the 2021-2022 season in 7th place in the Liga Nos. An important part of the workforce, Boateng for his first time, has had a successful season with the Portuguese club.

Kennedy Kofi Boateng, the Togolese international central defender, for his first season with CD Santa Clara, has shown a certain regularity.

Out of the 34 days of the Liga Nos, the 25-year-old player played 26, including 23 as a starter, thanks to his tenacity and his determination.

To his credit 63% of aerial duels won during the championship, Kennedy Kofi Boateng, received 5 yellow cards and had no red.

With him, CD Santa Clara achieved the record of 11 home matches without defeat, or 30 points won, a level the club has not reached since the 2001-2002 season.

Under the spotlight, thanks to his fine performances, Kennedy Boateng joined the Sparrowhawks’ Togo, after saying yes to his mother’s country.

He continues his rise in the club, while waiting for the AFCON 2023 qualifiers, which begin in June. For now, KKB is happy with his season with CD Santa Clara.
