Young girls from 5 to 15 years old from all over Togo took part on Saturday, October 8 in the launch of FIBA’s “Her World-Her Rules” campaign, which aims to introduce young people to basketball.
Under the guidance of sports educators supported by some former players, the young participating girls spent a rewarding Saturday day in Lomé, Vogan, Tabligbo, Kouvé, Kpalimé, Atakpamé, Sokodé, Tchamba, Kara and Dapaong.
Fun and educational activities, they were also entitled to practical advice.
The presence of the former players was beneficial for the young girls.
During the exchanges, they discussed with the participants the importance of the practice of Basketball, the maintenance of the body and the sharing of social values such as friendship, respect, civic-mindedness.

Through this project, the national basketball federation of Togo (FNB Togo) wants to arouse the passion of the orange ball among the participants. Project activities end on October 22.
The “Her World-Her Rules” project is an initiative of FIBA towards its member associations.
