Senegal-Uncertainty over Sadio Mané’s participation in the World Cup

During Bayern Munich’s victory against Werder Bremen (6-1) on Tuesday evening, the Senegalese star Sadio Mané may not play in the World Cup (November 20 – December 18) due to injury.

This is bad news for the Senegalese selection. After Bayern Munich’s victory against Bremen, the attacking midfielder wanted to be reassuring despite his injury. The entire Bavarian staff evoked a simple blow received.

The former Liverpool player is actually suffering from a tendon and is expected to miss several weeks of competition.

Senegal coach Aliou Cissé is due to announce on Friday his list of players who will go to Qatar.

He will therefore be deprived of his 30-year-old star, 2nd in the last Ballon d’Or 2022 and winner of African best player.

As a reminder, Senegal found themselves in group A along with the host country, Qatar, Ecuador and the Netherlands.
