Guinean entertainer Grand P says he was humiliated and evicted from the VIP lounge by a police officer and agents as he tried to welcome Brazilian soccer legend Ronaldinho to Guinea earlier this weekend.

In a publication on Facebook, the artist claims to be present at Ahmed Sekou Touré International Airport, to receive the former footballer.

“In my capacity as Ambassador of Guinean Culture, I was forcibly humiliated today by a police officer and agents who disrespected me at Ahmed Sékou Touré International Airport.”, he deplores.

Grand P is not only outraged that this situation is happening in his own country but also despite the fact that he was reportedly invited by the organizers to host the Brazil international.

“Sacked from the VIP lounge like a vulgar person knowing my status, disrespecting me like this in my own country is an insult to me and my Manager Alpha Sylla. We are well received and welcomed everywhere we go and zealous people want to ridicule us at home. I fully deserve this honor given to me by the President of the Republic of Guinea Colonel Mamady Doumbouya… I just need a ‘full respect and consideration in my country.’, concluded Grand P.

Finally, he end up meeting the football star on Saturday.

Ronaldo de Assis Moreira commonly known as Ronaldinho Gaùcho stepped on Guinean soil for the first time at the start of this weekend.
