Winners of Somalia for their first match in this tournament, Algeria challenge Senegal today. A match scheduled for 4 p.m. (GMT) at the Nelson Mandela Stadium.
At the top of group A, tied on points with their opponents, the Fennecs will try to snatch their second victory in this tournament, which would open the doors to the quarter-finals. A mission not impossible for the men of coach Arezki Remmane.
On the other hand, Serigne Saliou Dia and his boys reassured themselves on Sunday by dominating Congo (1-0) despite a big lack of efficiency.
The other meeting on Tuesday will oppose Congo to Somalia (19h GMT). A meeting of the less classified group A, in search of victory to revive.
Last in the group after their defeat against the Greens U17, the Stars of the Ocean must at least take a draw against the Devils so as not to leave the competition prematurely. Same goal for Congo, who should no longer make mistakes after their misstep on the first day against Senegal.
