As part of the fifth day of qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON 2023, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has made an update on the list of countries which do not have stadiums approved by the governing body of football on the continent.

According to the list published this week by CAF, out of the 48 nations participating in these qualifiers, twenty-one countries do not have a single stadium meeting international standards on their territory.

Several countries involved in the AFCON 2023 qualifiers have thus been rejected by CAF and will be forced to play their next “home” matches in another country for the fifth day of qualifying which starts on June 14.
