The qualifiers for the African Cup of Nations, AFCON 2023, continue with the fifth day marked by decisive games. Here is the program for this Saturday, June 17th.


In total 7 matches are on the program today in several African cities as part of the fifth day of playoffs for the continental tournament.

Like Egypt on Wednesday, new selections will be able to join, this Saturday, the list of participants in the final phase of the next AFCON.


Second in Group H, alongside Côte d’Ivoire, Zambia host the Elephants at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium this Saturday. The match of the two Group favorites will take place at 13 GMT.

But before the end of this game, Lesotho and Comoros, in a match relocated to South Africa, will try to increase their points to make it more difficult for the Zambians.

In group E, the Central African Republic, in search of a historic qualification for the African Cup of Nations, will face Angola in Douala, Cameroon. A victory is enough for the hosts to qualify for the AFCON for the first time.


This Saturday, other clashes are taking place in a group L , group J, and group K.
