While Nigeria has recorded its first cases of the Covid-19 variant, called omicron, churches, mosques and other places of worship in the country are also being used as part of the new vaccine strategy initiated by the authorities.
After Nigeria, Ghana also announced that its scientists have detected cases of the new variant of the Coronavirus, known as Omicron, in passengers who arrived in the country on November 21.
The World Health Organization (WHO) on Sunday, November 28, launched an appeal for borders to remain open, opposing the new travel restrictions especially with African Countries.
