Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has raised doubts about the health status of Senegalese international Sadio Mané who was injured during FIFA World Cup African Qualifiers.
“Sadio is fine – painful but fine. Everybody who had a rib bruise knows it’s an annoying thing. But Sad trained here with us now in all sessions,” Klopp said on the English club’s official website.
Mané was forced to return to England after receiving a blow in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Togo last week.
He was substituted in the first part of the game which ended 1-1. Senegalese coach Aliou Cissé later confirmed his departure from the national team for Liverpool.

The injury deprived him of the last match of Group H between Senegal and Congo, which they once again won.
Senegal Lions of Teranga are among the very first African teams to qualify for the Qatar 2022 play-offs which will be played in March.
