After their defeat Monday, against Morocco in their first African Cup of Nations match (AFCON 2021), the captain of Ghana Black stars, André Ayew reveals that he has not been feeling well for a couple of days.
“I’ve not been feeling well for the past two days, but I wanted to play. My colleagues wanted me on the field so I did everything to be there. It’s football and we are disappointed to concede in the last minute”, he said.
The Atlas Lions won their first Group C match, thanks to a goal of Sofiane Boufal in the 82nd minute of the game.
