On Friday, the Ghana Black Stars captain André Ayew’s club, Al-Sadd SC has been crowned league champion of the 2021/22 season in Qatar.
The trophy was handed to the Ghanaian and his teammates following a 1-1 draw against Duhail on Friday February 25, 2022.
Al-Sadd SC have already sealed the league triumph four days earlier.
André Ayew during last summer sealed a sensational move to join the Qatari giants after leaving England where he played for Championship outfit Swansea City.
The 32 year-old player immediately became a fan favourite as he scored for fun to help his club until he had to leave for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2021).
This is therefore the second trophy the Ghanaian striker has won since his move to Al-Sadd SC.
