Several African countries have made progress in the latest FIFA world ranking published this Thursday, March 31, 2022. A very big gap between the west African rivals, Ghana and Nigeria.
The Black Stars of Ghana have this time won 5.91 additional points, making their total score 1387.36.
FIFA unveiled its latest ranking on Thursday indicating that Ghana has gained one more place, 60th in the world.
Meanwhile, in the women’s category, Ghana also moved from 60th to 56th out of 211 teams globally.
The Blacks Stars, who were 61st country in the February ranking, have now become 60th in the world. They therefore occupy the 11th rank in Africa still led by Senegal.
Meanwhile, Nigeria, beaten by Ghana a few days ago, becomes 30th in the world and 3rd in Africa.
The top ten African teams are respectively: Senegal, Morocco, Nigeria, Egypt, Tunisia, Cameroon, Algeria, Mali, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso.
