The Confederation of African Football (CAF) unveiled this Wednesday, the list of the 10 best young players of the year, on the occasion of CAF Award 2022. Two young Ghanaian women are in the list.
As we announced promised, the continental umbrella has revealed the names of the players, while the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco is being played.
Evelyn Badu, the Ghanaian midfielder who plays for Norwegian club Avaldsnes IL and the Ghana women’s national team is part of the list released by CAF this Wednesday.
The 19-year-old is delighted after seeing her nomination in three different lists: Young player of the year, Player of the year and Interclub player of the year.
Her compatriot, of the same age, Doris Boaduwaa who is still playing for Hasaacas Ladies FC also found her name on the three lists.

The other country that also has two nominees on this list is Nigeria, which has Gift Monday and Flourish Sebastine nominated for Young player of the year.
