The South Africans won their first WAFCON Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, a historic moment of celebration for Cyril Ramaphosa’s country.
President Cyril Ramaphosa celebrates the ladies this Sunday July 23, after a historic victory in the continental competition.

“Congratulations to Banyana Banyana on making history and winning their first ever title at the Women’s Africa Cup of National last night “, he twitted.
“They promised me that they would bring the trophy home. We cannot wait to welcome you back and thank you for flying the flag!”, he added.
It has indeed been a tough game on Saturday evening in Morocco, as the host country also wanted to make history. But the South Africans claimed it with only 1-2.
