As part of the 2022 World Cup which is fast approaching, visitors to Qatar for the major global meeting, will be required to observe certain precautions. First, here are the entry requirements.

It should first be noted that only people with match tickets have been allowed to enter Qatar since November 1, accompanied by up to three guests who must pay an entry fee of 500 Qatari riyals (137 US dollars), except for children under 12 years old.

At the end of the group stage on December 2, it will no longer be necessary to have a ticket to enter the country.

On the other hand, it will still be compulsory to register online to obtain a Hayya card, which acts as a visa.


There will also be a 500 QAR (137 US dollars) fee for over 12s.

Having accommodation, booked on the official platform of the organizers or elsewhere, is compulsory for spectators who stay for more than 24 hours.

As a reminder, the big tournament will kick off on Sunday November 20, 2022 with a match between Qatar and Ecuador. Meanwhile, the final game is scheduled for December 18.
