Togolese soccer legend Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor speaks out on the assassination of a young Togolese student in France last week.

Fortune Kolagbe, a 22-year-old Togolese girl died on Sunday December 4 after being stabbed several times in the commercial area of Plan de Campagne in Cabriès (France).

The tragedy occurred when the victim had just left work and was about to take a bus home.

Stabbed several times, particularly in the heart, she succumbed to her injuries despite the intervention of mobile gendarmes.

Since then, on the web, voices have been raised to demand justice for the victim whose loved ones are totally bruised.

In a recent publication in story on his Instagram account, Adebayor commented on the drama, asking for justice to be done to his compatriot.

“SEA, justice for our sister Kolagbe Fortune, a 22-year-old Togolese student who was stabbed to death near Marseille last week,” he wrote.

According to a police source, a man suspected of having stabbed her was arrested and taken into custody. The motive for the murder remains unknown at this time.
