Swiss trainer Nora Häuptle has been appointed head Coach of the Black Queens of Ghana. The information is confirmed by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) this Thursday, January 5, 2023.

From one function to another, Nora Häuptle changes attributes but always remains in Ghana. The Swiss technician has just been promoted to the rank of head coach of the Ghana women’s team. She will now lead the Black Queens for the next matches.

Until then, Nora Häuptle had been working in Ghana as a technical advisor to the Black Princesses (U20 women’s national team), since her appointment on August 10, 2022 by the GFA.

In her new mission as Black Queens coach, Nora Häuptle will be assisted by Joyce Boatey-Agyei and Aboagye Dacosta.

The primary objective is to qualify Ghana for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations and the women’s tournament in the UFOA B zone scheduled from April 2023.
