Edrice Femi “Bam” Adebayo, American professional basketball player for the Miami Heat in the NBA shines in the 2022-2023 All-Star game, provoking reactions from some fans of African football star Emmanuel Adebayor, who obviously miss the best moments of joy that he also created a few years ago.
“OMG! You make me miss my idol from Togo”. “Sheyi Adebayor or Bam Adebayo? You should be clear,” such comments referencing the Togolese flow below a video highlighting the basketball player’s best plays this season.

Adebayo had 24 points (10-19 FG, 4-7 FT), 13 rebounds, six assists and two blocks in 38 minutes in their last game Wednesday against the Nets. The basketball player is now averaging a career-high 21.6 points per game, as well as 10.0 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 0.8 blocks this season.

Bam played college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats before being selected by the Heat with the 14th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. He is a two-time NBA All-Star, three-time NBA All-Defensive Second Team honoree. Adebayo also won a gold medal on the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team in Tokyo.
As a reminder, Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor, soon 39 years old, has not announced his retirement yet.
