It’s the end of the 4th day of the TotalEnergies African Cup of Nations, AFCON 2023 Qualifiers. The tournament is fast approaching, as six teams have already confirmed their place in the competition.
So far, three West African countries have no doubts about their participation in the next AFCON.
Defending champions Senegal, Tunisia, South Africa, Morocco and Burkina Faso have joined hosts Les Éléphants in the list of Nations qualified for AFCON 2023 which starts in January 2024.
The Tunisians remain top of Group J with 10 points, while Group K is already sealed with Morocco and South Africa confirming their tickets.
Senegal, who have so far not lost a game in the qualifiers, also lead Group L with 12 points, having beaten Mozambique on Tuesday.
On the same day, Burkina Faso, after a draw with Togo in Lomé, maintained their position at the top of the group with 10 points.
The 5th day is scheduled for June, before the last matches in September 2023.
