The draw for the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations of under 23, (AFCON U23) was carried out this Friday, May 5, 2023, in Rabat, Morocco.

The host country, Morocco will evolve in the group A alongside Ghana, 4th in the last edition.

This group is completed by Guinea and Congo, who will participate in the competition for the first time, after having eliminated Nigeria and South Africa respectively, during the 3rd and last qualifying round.

Group B is dominated by Egypt who will face Mali, Gabon and Niger.

As a reminder, the AFCON U23 is scheduled from June 24 to July 8 in Morocco. This competition is a qualifier for the Paris 2024 Olympics Games.
