It’s the first time in Germany’s history that they haven’t reached the knockout stages of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Morocco thus became the last and third African nation to stay the course in the tournament after the qualifications of Nigeria and South Africa. In the round of 16, Morocco will face France on August 8.
