These teams will fervently compete for the prestigious title of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, aiming to succeed Senegal, the defending champion, who clinched the CAN 2021 in Cameroon.
The Africa Cup of Nations 2025 is anticipated to take place in Morocco from July 20 to August 16 or 17, 2025. The tournament’s last two editions were delayed. This will mark the second occasion that Morocco has had the honor of hosting this prestigious continental tournament since its inaugural hosting in 1988. The North African nation’s previous opportunity to host the tournament was slated for 2015. However, due to concerns surrounding the Ebola virus outbreak in Western Africa at the time, Morocco withdrew as host.
