Former President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has made a donation to the residents of the communities affected by the tidal waves in the costal towns in Volta region.

The flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), presented Saturday, November 13 many goods to Members of the parliament of the concerned constituencies.

In his speech, Mahama indicated that the donation contains 1,000 bacs of rice, 3004 mattresses, 2000 pieces of canned fishes, 2000 pieces of canned tomatoes and 2000 litters of cooking oil.

He also outlined that he was not the only one behind these relief items.
” There are several business people who do not want to be named, but who came together and supported us to make this presentation”, John Mahama said.

Three constituencies were affected by the tidal waves last Sunday, November 7, including the Keta constituency Ketu South, and Anlo.
