A total of 21 people including two French people and their wives are being prosecuted for endangering state security, criminal association and conspiracy to assassinate the Malagasy head of state Andry Rajoelina.
The two men who were arrested on July 20 , have since been remanded in custody at the Tsiafahy force house, on the outskirts of the capital.
Presumed brains of the “Apollo 21” project, the supposed coup attempt to eliminate and neutralize, according to the Attorney General, several “high political figures” including President Andry Rajoelina.
The two men and their wives deny any involvement in this affair.

According to reports, the lawyer for Franco-Malagasy and his wife, Arlette Rafanomadio deplores “difficult access” to her clients and fears “an unfair trial”.
