The legend of African Football, Samuel Eto’o who is also a candidate for the presidential election of the Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) has just sent a very important message to his supporters on the occasion of the elections which are fast approaching.



The election will take place on Saturday December 11th.

The Cameroonian star sent a message to his compatriots who might be preparing for marches in support of his candidacy.

The former captain of the Indomitable Lions is very clear that he does not want his candidacy to be supported through protests or marches.

“Dear brothers and sisters, I know how much you love me, I know how much you appreciate me. It’s time to take it apart and stay very calm, ” this is how he began his speech in French language, recorded in a video that he has just released.

“If any of you are going to march, then they will play against me.” We all love our country. We all love our football. Believe me, despite all the difficulties that we have known, and that we will experience in the future, we will go to these elections with peace of mind and with our forces to win these elections. So, no march is allowed in my camp, ” Samuel Eto’o hammered.

In this presidential race, the former FC Barcelona striker will face five candidates: they are the outgoing interim president Seidou Mbombo Njoya, Wandja Zacharie, Tagouh Justin, Onana Jules Denis and Nyamsi Jean Crépin Soter.
