In a decree dated Thursday, December 16, 2021, the President of Burkina Faso, Roch Kaboré made new appointments within the Defense and Security Forces. A total of 13 people have been appointed to major military posts in this neighboring country of Ghana.

After having modified the hierarchy of the Ministry of Defense and changed the Minister of Internal Security followed by the appointment of a new Chief of Staff, President Roch Kabore has just made new appointments in the ranks of the Forces of Defense and Security of the country.

The decree issued by the head of state on Thursday mentions the appointment of 13 new people.

The appointments concern in particular the Georges Namoano military academy (AMGN), the Kadiogo military Prytaneum (PMK), the office of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces (CEMGA) and others.

This series of appointments comes a few days after the formation of a new government headed by Prime Minister Lassina Zerbo, following the resignation of his predecessor Christophe Joseph Marie Dabiré.
