“We didn’t see the Ghana, we know today,” said former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan, after Black stars lost (2-3) against Comoros this Tuesday January 18, 2022 in the ongoing AFCON 2021.
Gyan made this statement on Super Sport television following the most crucial match for Milovan Rajevac’s men in the AFCON 2021.
The former Captain believes that all Ghanaians will be disappointed after the Black Stars lost to Comoros, who recorded their first win in this competition.
It was four minutes after the game that Ghana conceded the first goal.

A great weakness is also aroused by the unexpected exit of the captain or the hope of the team, André Ayew.
The scorer of the previous match received a red card. This happened after he clashed with the Comoros goalkeeper, resulting to the latter’s substitution.
In the other match, the leaders of Group C, Morocco and Gabon finished 2-2. Both nations are qualified for the round of 16.
