Burkina Faso beat Tunisia this Saturday, January 29, 2022, in the quarter-finals of the ongoing AFCON 2021. They have therefore reached the semi-finals for the fourth time in their history.
The country in political crisis managed to maintain the score (1:0) scored in the last minute of the first part of the game.
The goal was scored by French club FC Lorient midfielder Dango Aboubacar Faissal Ouattara.

The match was full of surprises with a lot of pressure from both sides until the end. However, Burkina Faso had been reduced to ten (10) at the 82nd minute of the game due to a red card given to the 19-year-old scorer.
Burkinabe have thus extended their stay in the country of Samuel Eto’o. Sunday will see the other two matches of the quarter-finals: Egypt against Morocco and Senegal against Equatorial Guinea.
