France, world champion, will play in a friendly against Côte d’Ivoire on Friday March 25 in Marseille, then against South Africa four days later in Lille.
Côte d’Ivoire, 56th nation in the FIFA rankings, eliminated in the round of 16 of the latest African Cup of Nations , will face France in a friendly match.
The last meeting of the Blues against an African selection dates back to November 15, 2016 in a friendly in Lens, and it was also against Côte d’Ivoire.
Five and a half years later, the French will again meet the Elephants.
