Representatives of the Football Federations of African countries are participating this April 1, 2022, in a meeting of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Qatar. Many decisions will be made on the sidelines of this meeting.

CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe takes advantage of the presence of the Presidents of CAF Member Associations and members of the Executive Committee who attended the 72nd FIFA Congress in Doha on Wednesday to bring them together to take stock and discuss certain matters relating to CAF and its competitions.



On the occasion of this gathering, the CAF Executive Committee will decide on the dates of certain competitions including the next African Cup of Nations (CAN2023).

CAF Secretary General Veron Mosengo-Omba will also provide a full update on the various competitions scheduled by the governing body for the 2022-2023 season.

The African School Championship and the Pan-African Super League project will also be discussed during this summit.
