The Senegalese football star, Sadio Mané has been elected best African player of the year 2022, during the CAF awards ceremony (CAF Awards 2022), held this July 21 in Morocco.
The new Bayern Munich striker has won this title ahead of his compatriot Édouard Mendy and his former attacking partner Mohamed Salah.

Sadio Mané thus won his second title of African player of the year, and this in a row.
With Liverpool FC and the selection, it is a successful season for the African champion, a native of Bambali: winner of CAN 2021, winner of the League Cup, winner of the FA Cup, finalist of the Champions League of the UEFA and overseen by a qualification of his country for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Meanwhile Mané’s country, Senegal has also been crowned the national men team of the year, his coach, Aliou cissé has also been awarded the coach of the year.
