The African Nations Championship, CHAN 2023 continues this Friday, February 3 with a clash between Madagascar and Niger, counting for the classification match of the African tournament.

As we are waiting for the grand final scheduled for Saturday between Algeria and Senegal, Madagascar and Niger meet this Friday at the Miloud Hadefi stadium for the CHAN 2023 classification match.

A clash between two teams who have reached the last four of the tournament for the first time in their history. The Barea are on their side in their first participation in this final phase.

After a laborious group phase where they beat Cameroon (1-0), the Mena surprised Ghana (2-1) in the quarter-finals.

In the semi-finals, however, Harouna Doula’s men could not do anything against the host country which largely dominated with 5-0.

A humiliation for the Niger players who will try to get up against the Malagasy, just to finish the competition with a medal around their necks.

Same goal for Madagascar, so promising against Ghana (2-1), Sudan (3-0) and Mozambique (3-1) and completely down in the semis against Senegal (0-1).

The Barea will try to leave the tournament through the front door. Note that the Niger-Madagascar match is scheduled for this evening from 7 p.m. (GMT).
