FIFA has appointed Ghanaian Munkaila Nassam Adam as commissioner for next Friday’s FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifying match between Nigeria and Liberia at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

FIFA has also appointed Togolese official Kouassi Attisso Attiogbe as referee of the match, while Abdallah El Achiri of Morocco will serve as referee assessor.

The day one clash between the Super Eagles and the Lone Stars will begin at 5 p.m. Nigeria time with the Togolese Attiogbe assisted on the lines by his compatriots Komlan Domenyo Adiwotso (assistant referee 1), Limna Kabassima (assistant referee 2 ) and Yelebodom Gado Bodjona (fourth official).

Match officials are due to arrive in Lagos on Wednesday, while the Lone Star delegation will land on Tuesday.

This match will take place on Tuesday, September 7, with the Super Eagles taking off from Lagos on a chartered jet on Monday, September 6 and returning to Nigeria immediately after the match.
