The Vice-president of Ghana, Dr Bawumia announces government’s decision to pay for the treatment of victims of the explosion that occurred yesterday, 20th January, 2022 at Appiatse in the Western Region.
The Vice-president made this statement while visiting some victims this Friday January 21 at Appiatse.
“Government is going to be responsible fully for all their medical bills”, he said.
Dr Bawumia has made this trip with some Ministers of State, the Inspector-General of Police, some POMAB members and other security agencies.
For now, the exact number of dead and injured in this incident has not yet been reported.
