In a tweet on Tuesday, the Africa office of the World Health Organization (WHO) warns of depression which affects many people on the continent.
Meanwhile depression “is the most widespread mental health condition in Africa, 85% of people who suffer from it do not have access to any treatment”, deplores the WHO.
According to the UN specialized agency for public health, anxiety disorder affects 30 million people in Africa.
